What it is

You need to know if this idea will work before you can justify a build. In 4 weeks, you'll know.

PoC Development is a fixed-scope, fixed-price sprint that answers one question: does this work? You leave with a running artefact, not a pitch deck.

We do the requirement mapping, the architecture triage, and the smallest sharpest build that proves the risky bit. The rest — auth, admin, edge cases — is intentionally out of scope.

The output includes a written recommendation on the full build: what to keep, what to throw away, what a fair fixed price for the production system is. Whether you continue with us or not.

What you get

6 concrete things, on the SOW.

Every deliverable is written into the statement of work — priced, dated, and signed off by a named engineer at the relevant gate.

  • 01Running proof-of-concept on staging
  • 02Written technical assessment (5–10 pages)
  • 03Fixed quote for the full production build
  • 04Kill/keep recommendations per feature
  • 052-hour walkthrough with your team
  • 06All code, prompts, and infra — yours to keep

Where this shows up

Three shapes of engagement.

Different problems, same method. These are the concrete work shapes we typically deliver under PoC Development.

01

New AI capability

Prove a retrieval or agent flow works on your data before scoping the product.

02

Integration feasibility

Answer "can this system talk to that one" with something running, not a diagram.

03

Migration risk

Migrate one hard slice of a legacy system in 4 weeks to see what the full move looks like.

The stack

Capabilities, not vendors.

The requirement picks the tool, not the other way round. Naming vendors up front would set the wrong ceiling on what we take on.

  • Rapid prototyping
  • Time-boxed scope
  • Kill-criteria upfront
  • Written assessment
  • Fixed quote for build

How it runs

Seven stages. One signature at a time.

Every PoC Development engagement runs through the same seven-gate Aivora Delivery Engine — each stage run by specialised agents, each ending at a gate a senior engineer must sign.

Frequently asked

Questions people ask before booking.

What if the PoC fails?

That's the point. A PoC that "succeeds" no matter what is not a proof. If it fails, you leave with a written record of why — priced at the same fixed fee. That's worth more than a maybe.

Do you charge for the assessment separately?

No. The assessment and the fixed quote for the full build are part of the PoC fee. There is no billable "phase 2 planning."

Can the PoC become the production system?

Sometimes — but rarely without rework. We tell you honestly which parts survive and which need to be rewritten. The PoC is optimised for answering the question, not for surviving prod.
